Default Which Meguiars/other cleaning products?

Every year I tend to buy different car cleaning products to compare manufacturers and eventually be satisfied with one make.

I bought Clearkote last year which was OK but didn't seem much different to the Autoglym I'd been using before.

Lots of people have mentioned the Meguiars range but I don't know which to get either the NXT stuff or the Step 1,2 etc range.

A few have mentioned the Poorboys and using the SSR stuff to remove the fine scratches and swirls.

I've got an MY00 Sonic Blue Impreza.

Any opinions appreciated.

What you could do is to go to Meguiars and put in what you want in a cleaning/polishing product and they'll send you a personal plan of what you need

Is Swissol really that good though? Just seems well expensive but itf its all its cracked up to be then its prolly cheaper to buy a starter kit than buying a cheaper alternative every year.

Looked on Scoobyworld at the entry collection kits. The kit with the Samurai wax "Specifically designed for Subaru paintwork" I take it this would be the one to have? Don't think it contains a claybar but I can always use one I already have.

Wasn't there some discussion re megs and swissol and one giving a better wet look on darker cars, - ie the original DBM and black - Can remember which one though !
Personally use Megs stage 1,2,3 every six months or so and then a layer of PS21-s concours look wax, all from http://www.seriousperformance.co.uk/

I have almost everything from the Meguairs range and recommend it highly - use step 1 for cleaning, step 2 for polish then NXT wax for the finishing touch..

Another product I can recommend is P21s paint cleaner/polish and concourse wax.. not cheap but will last you ages and the shine will last a long time too..
