full decat, remap, STI IC, and a crappy turbo, car is only putting out 285bhp, but i used a 45 shot of NOS which helped "immensely" especially witht he terminal speed of 110mph.

Well done mate!
Was pleasantly surprised to see your ugly mug staring at me from the pages of a Jap Tuner mag the other day while bored in WHSmith!
Are you still on the original turbo?

ugly mug in J-Tuner? which edition?? i knew there was a pic of the car in the latest edition from GT battle but not a pic of muggins too?
Nah i have a different turbo but its not producing any more power than if i still had a TD04, so its money wasted which is annoying.....

yup, the car seems to bog....not sure why, but when you try to gun it in to second, it just has none of it until about 4.5k.....under normal circumstances the car makes full boost at 3200...
its a mystery to me, unless i tried a full throttle change which im not prepared to try!!
as soon as you flick the nitrous on though it soon sorts second gear out

I noticed your hesitation in 2nd gear too...
Cant see how you have time to hit a switch after 1st gear? That may be a contibuting factor?
A gear-based progressive controller may be a good way forward.
A bit more to be had off the times when you get it all right.

its not the flicking the switch that takes the time...its just that the engine totally bogs down....its only something that can be demostrated....not really described!
