bought some mudflaps today???

From: usually hertford or in my CTR
Question bought some mudflaps today???

ok,bought some sparco mudflaps from halfrauds today,but they dont come with any fitting kit and i can't work out how or what they fit to! doesn't seem much inside the arches to just bolt them on!

any help will be very appreciated!

I have some proper wrx ones and they r screwed into the arch where the plastic inner arch is fitted,u need a mate to help u as to get them level etc,mine where supplied and fitted by special scoobies in colchester

cheers for that catmeat! so it looks like you just bolt them into the inner plastic arch then,sound simple
enough!

The 'proper' ones have a metal bracket thing too, so that the flap is sandwiched between the bracket and the inner wheel arch.

Look in your front wheel arch u will see the plastic type screws that hold the inner arch,thats where mine r fitted,the rears r fitted to the bumper,depends how low u want them?mine r an inch off the ground

ru-they are some proper meaty looking brackets! might have to raid my dads shed to see what i can come up with!

catmeat-that does sound simple! i'd like them about an inch of the ground too!

I brought the one's from Scott Lowe mate, can't sing their praises enought, but the link is quite good, he must have some ***** for the stuff he's tried, he's had a go at doing pretty much eveything.

If your fitting yourself take your time,as it doesnt take much just to move and once u have made a hole theres no going bk,good luck
