New Shape Impreza - £19995
#1
A company advertising in Fridays Sun newspaper are selling new shape Impreza's at £19995 available October 2000.
There must be Euro prices available somewhere for them to do this.
The company is called Euro-Caledonian Limited from Glasgow. I've never heard of them, but maybe someone else has.

Take a look at the I-club the U.S Impreza site there are pic of the Euro spec Impreza form Puerto rico and Australia.
The new shape has grown on me, it looks so much better with the 17 inch wheels.

Having re read my post it could appear that I was talking about Euro Caledonian.
I have no knowledge of anyone who has dealt with this particular company.

I have just had a quote from a dealer in Holland for the following:
Impreza WRX 5 door
Metallic Paint
Deliver/COC
£18,500
Quite a price hike from my MY2000 I bought 9 months ago (£16,000)
If the UK prices are comming down slightly, then there will only be a 10% difference in price between UK/Holland - so it will not be worth importing anymore.
regards,
Gary

Be VERY careful with any such companies. I know of two people who paid considerable deposits and the company disappeared with them.
One potential customer only found out something was wrong when he was trying to transfer the final balance and one of the telephone girls (at a call centre) sounded nervous. She had just been on the receiving end of abuse from other customers who had found that they had been stung.
The company had customers that it had supplied, who gave references when called, their ad was in he Sunday Times and all seemed legit.
I would not want to discredit the reputable companies, but please be careful and pay any deposit by credit card. Don't hand over any more money until the keys (and car) are in front of you.
