Never use the lock on the road, not good
1 click up from the back is about where you want it, but its practice in the end, depending if you want under or over steer

Tony

PS all the way back is understeer heaven

i only use open in the dry - just gotta be on your toes if you're pushing it...

1st or 2nd amber if it's wet and i'm 'making progress'.

Apparently, you can't damage them by running them in the amber on dry tarmac... but I ain't guaranteeing any claims lol

Open all the time!!! Just got to watch those white lines when wet and feed it coming out of corners (especially roundabouts and if you've got your parents in the car, oops!).

you should try accelerating then lol

is your (i) permanently on? that leaves it in open no matter where it says it is.

i can't believe that you won't notice the difference in the wet especially - mine's greasier than a barrel of eels with it open in the wet.

Default DCCD

I have only had the use of DCCD for about 2 weeks but in the wet whilst driving hard its locked all the way for me.
Even in the dry i sometimes push it into the red, i find it helps braking no end and with no ABS makes the heart return to a normalish beat fairly sooner.
I assume its DCCD-A you guys are on about.
This was a good read for me

No all the way back and the car understeers, in lock it will oversteer, hence lock is designed for gravel

he's either being sarcastic, got muddled, or his mind has come free from its moorings.

yep his mind's come free - i've never driven a car that has so much grip and snaps so hard out of shape when it's set to free. a few brown trouser incidents and one big spin has taught me not to poke it too hard

Obviously I dont understand the system then. I thought thast the wheels putting the power down lost grip first.
