Accident tonight A303 eastbound near Andover
Was driving home tonight on the A303 westbound at around 9pm.
On the opposite carriageway there was what looked like a reddish blue (or possibly rally blue) classic Turbo upside down on it's roof. There was also a Silver classic Turbo stopped just behind it.
Police were on the scene, and the ambulance had just arrived.
Here's hoping that it wasn't anybody on here, and that whoever it was, that they weren't badly hurt.

There were no fatalities, but they won't give any additional information as their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
From what I could see at the time, it didn't appear as if anyone else was involved in the accident. There were no other cars at the scene with any damage, so maybe it was just bad luck.

From the state of the car, I reckon it must have been travelling pretty quickly when the accident happened.
Still, I guess that's what the police are trying to work out. It must be pretty difficult to determine the speed, when all you've got to go on are trails of paint from the roof..........
