hi, i was just wondering what is the best spark plugs for a 93 wrx jap import it has been re-maped and is running 1.2 bar,has an scooby sport exhaust and a hks indution kit, also does any one know how to fit the spark plugs and are their any special tools required thank neil5536

NGK Platinum, not very pricey and supposedly work great..ive a 98 jap import sti type r..bit awkward to get at, obviously theyre down at sides..get a good known mechanic to do ur work for ya

do mine meself mate and they aint that bad,if your cars got std airbox that has to come off,aswell as the washer bottle you can then get at the plugs with plug socket and 2inch extension/ratchet cant see em or where they screw in just the holes,to an extent its done by feel so be careful, , especially coz with yours i believe theres individual coil packs per plug that have to come off first and can be tempremental once removed.(got blitz irridiums in mine ok but not a real noticeable difference)

I'd go for the NGK PFR7B's gapped to 0.7mm

since you have an induction kit you can get to the OS plugs, NS you have to remove the washer bottle.

You have to remove the coil packs, just 1 10mm bolt and pull them out, then I use a small socket extension with the sparkplug socket - handily its just the right length. Top tip is to remove the rubber in the spark plug socket, otherwise once you've tightened up the plug you can leave the socket behind - only option to retrieve it is to take the plug out again

Last thing - don't overtighten the plug, you should be able to 'feel' the washer crushing down, then once it goes tight I give it another 1/4 turn
