25k to spend (scooby) need advice
After owning a scoob before i'm itching to get back into ownership and have a budget of around 25k...my question is what do i get????:
WR1
P1
22B
STI 8
I don't have to spend 25k but i am prepared to. I want to buy a car thats not going to destroy me when i come to change.
looking forward to your comments

the 22B is the iconic Impreza, but it must be said that it is getting on a tad, and its handling and pace have easily been surpassed nowadays, it all depends on what you want from the prospective puchase, if you do decide on a 22B for Gods sake dont prang it, I nearly had a coronary when I heard how much one of those lovely hand beaten wings would cost!!!!!!!
Or a front bumper for that matter!!

my heart says 22B
my head says spec C
i would rather keep my p1 than any scoob other than them 2.
and possibly a T25.
the only one that you are not going to loose loads of money on resale is the 22B, but you may spend loads keeping it on the road!

not so sure handling and grip of 22b have easily been surpassed.
It still has the widest track of any road impreza, and the same width tyres as the newest cars which have just caught up.
It still has a 100kg weight advantage even over the spec c, never mind the other cars!
personally I would buy a P1 or an evo 6 when they hit 10k and pocket the rest!

Get out there and drive 'em mate
Spec C will give you the best performance on that budget - but then also look out for an 05 UK STI with PPP.
Why not look at an S202 for a bit of exclusivity and mega performance (prob as good if not better than a Spec C) - Bern555 has one for sale
How many miles you gonna do and are you gonna do track days??
I'd stay away from a WR1 though - not a good buyu compared to the better 05 STI PPP.
22B - love one myself - but do too many miles per year to be comfortable with one.
P1 - have one and love it - but you'd have a lot of your £25k budget left after buying one - but then you could always get the engine and car specced up to cope with 450bhp for that money
Cheers

I'd go for a JDM STI8, its got the twin scroll, DCCD, taken the price hit etc.
You can pick them up for 18K, then 3K on engine and suspension mods. Job done
