Hello from a newby.
First post to say hello. A month or so ago i invested in my first Impreza,it was my sons fault after choosing them on the playstation.
I was'nt after a tuned/modded car but the one i found had sensible mods, only the ones i would have splashed out on myself. So with a fancy fat downpipe with stainless system,2000 spec disc/4pot upgrade, cone filter, full leather,cd player, nice rims(in need of a refurb) and lots of history the deal was done. When i picked up the car the kind chap had sorted me out some NGK platinum plugs, a boost gauge and a pair of Goodyear F1 215/40/17's tyres that he thought the car needed soon.Bonus!
The car a 1995 406 silver Wagon is faultless in it's drive and i am more than happy with it.The wheels i refurbed myself and look 100% better.
On searching through the history i found loads of reciepts including a laser suspension set up to Prodrive settings..Which was nice!
I find the fuel consumsion a little alarming after using a Pugeot 306 diesel but i enjoy driving it no end!
The machine is a pleasure thing, i have a works van for daily use. I plan to use the car on the odd trackday and will give it a go up the strip just to see what it will do.
I also run a turbo charged Mini with a 13.62 @ 105mph terminal 1/4 under it's belt..not bad for FWD 33 year old car!
Oh!.cheer RON for all the advice..
Jon.
