Thought it was just work computers, did feel particularly slow this eve.
Never mind, all these little gems of wisdom are well worth waiting for.

Has been slow for quite some time. Seriously slow tonight and I'm using a 2MB broadband connection, 700m from the exchange!
Any ideas why? Is it the indexing routines to do with the search facility or summat or is there just too much Scoobynet bandwith being used?

Probably all those MJ is not guilty threads that should be NSR rather than general.

About 9ish I got a message saying maintenance was in progress on the forums, then a little while later I got a 'real' error connecting.
I'm finding it slow as well. Maybe a rebuild going on, or search indexes being built...at a guess.
