I have a Subaru boost gauge fitted to my steering column, in my standardish MY00 Turbo, & get the same readings as you, so they would seem perfectly normal.

you need to get that boost up seams a little low to me i have a my03 and stnd was boosting 1 bar but i got a dawes controller and put it up a fair bit, but be warnd dont turn it up to uch or you get the engine light on and thats because of the fact set ecu you will then need a cell fix as i need but cant find anywhere that does um.

Further to my previous reply, if your gauge is a Subaru one like mine (Lamco?), it doesn't read in bar but kpa (or very similar) which I think someone previously on Scoobynet said was kilopascals (?) which is not quite the same as bar. However, if you run the appropriate equation, 0.9 kpa is equivalent to 1.0 bar, which is not low for a UK Turbo or UK market WRX.
