Default burning smell?

the car is my 99 uk turbo which i have owned for about 8 months now. the thing is for all the time ive had it i get like a burning oil smell or something similar when the engine is hot. its just one of them things i just forget about as the car runs fine with no smoke or anything. i am noticing it more now the nice weather is here and i pull up at lights with window. just wondering if this is normal or maybe some underlying problem. cheers leon

Not too expensive to sort neither. Last bill @ Jap Innovations was £60.00 or something.

had the same problem on mine look straight down past rocker cover on drivers side, the oil usually drips onto heatshield and burns off hence the smell.won't affect power but keep an eye on your oil level till its sorted.
