It would appear that Cheshire's police plane has been flying regularly up and down above the main roads in the chester and E/Port areas recently (A41 etc).By the way they are doing it I would hazzard a guess that they looking for speeding motorists.
You have been warned!

I don't know why I'm posting this as I'm sure none of us go above the posted speed limits!

Ref Eye in the Sky.....


Some weeks ago I met up with a mate in Central Birmingham who also has an Impreza. After meeting we decided to go back to his place for a coffee..... His place is down a longish drive and is well hidden away.

To cut a long story short.... after being back at his place for about 15mins we noticed on his CCT ( set up to give 24hour total surveillance of his Scooby) 4 policemen and 2 police cars outside.


When we went out to talk to them it turned out that a police helicopter had spotted us driving (fairly rapidly I must admit) through the centre of Brum. The helicopter then tracked us and radioed in that there were 2 stolen Imprezas being driven at high speed across Brum and hidden away up a private drive ! ! !

After a quick chat with the police they were satisfied that we were not car thieves......

But be warned...... they are watching...

I can just see it, they will have radar guns on the helicopters next

A friend, who rides a bike was with other like minded friends in Wales over the summer.

Apparently the Police were positioned in helicopter , with radar guns and just picking off the bikers, who were then identified by Leathers / Helmets and pulled a couple of miles later by Police on the ground.

Be warned.
