Good roads in the SE (Kent)
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend me some good roads for a blat in the Scooby in Kent? I'm from the Sidcup area (people seem to recognise that town on here as a landmark in Kent) but I don't mind traveling a bit. Twisties set at the national speed limit preferred.
Mods- I know there is an argument that this should go in the Southern section, but for reasons of exposure, I'd be grateful if you'd indulge me for a while so I can get a few replies!
Cheers,
NS04

Another vote for the A20 - especially the section down towards the Channel Tunnel with the blind left hand apex immediately after a crest - probably best not to approach at 10/10ths the first time.
The road from Charing to Headcorn via Smarden is also very good - yes it's restricted through Smarden but either side it's NSL and is a mixture of fast flowing and tight corners - very entertaining in the wet.
If you turn left at the Charing roundabout and go up the hill towards Canterbury the bit of road from Challock to Canterbury is also good - especially the series of bends around Chilham there is also a good left hander on a steep hill that is a test of nerves.

not around the areas above but get on 7 mile lane near wrotham hill (A20) and head towards tonbridge, go past the hop farm, thru tonbridge and on towards east sussex national golf course.
loads of miles and bar going thru tonbridge itself, it's a bloody nice run
to be avioded on days when the bikers meet up though, coppers come out in force with their handy digital guns
