Default wrx should I or shouldnt I ?

Im thinking of buying a wrx and have seen and test drove one 51 plate with 53000miles fsh etc etc etc, in silver what are they like at this age for reliability it has had a timing chain done

Its japanese and therefore should be fine. Just make sure it has the correct service history, paperwork etc and if your still not 100% sure get an independant inspection done on it ...... Im sure you will do ok though. Before you buy it might be worth checking the for sale section on here. Some bargains around at the moment

i've got a my01 wrx bugeye with 51,000 on the clock and all in all good car,never had any probs with mine. As said in the first reply totally agree whatever you do get all paper work checked out and you should put a new cam-belt on yourself so you know its been done. Never take anyones word for it. For the sake of two hundred quid or maybe your engine could go bang. I know what i would do, good look anyway mate
