Default Public Flashing

I only had my sti for one day but noticed that everyone with a scoob flashes at me. It takes me back to my MGB and motorcycling days all owners did the same.

My point is I am probably the oldest boy racer I know at 43 but would like to know if this is standard practice with impreza owners or am I a pratt if I go round waving and flashing at every subaru I see (outback and legacy drivers dont seem to do it strange that??)

Welcome Strokerace. Waving is the thing to do.
I only feel like a pratt when the wife & kids are in the car - they find the whole waving/flashing thing very funny and always take the pi55. Best to keep them out of the car from now on I think.

Don't feel too left out - I'm 42 with an STi. It's a mid-life crisis car!

Welcome to the world of the Subaru and Scoobynet

BTW, you're definitely not the oldest boy racer.

Everyone but Scooby owners think were sad! My girlfriend says I look like a prat waving, especially when they dont wave back! I say "F**k the misrable sods!" She says " But EVERYONE doesnt have a PC and log on to Scoobynet" which is true! But they should use 'The Force' like the rest of us do

It's not just an SN thing: Being a biker I always acknowledge a passing bike - even the ones with the blue flashing lights (tend to find Motorcycle Police are bikers first, Police second, but don't rely on it )
When it comes to the Scoob, I'm just so pleased to see another one, I flash, grin and wave like an idiot . Wife thinks it's sad, especially when I wave at the OAPs in their Legacies, but not gonna stop me

Nothing like a nice bit of public flashing.
