which give best value for money and long term reliability, a dawes device + boost gauge, electronic boost controller, or a re-map , which would be best value for money !!!!! any feedback appreciated the kazlo !!

I have a MY96WRX with full decat, panel filter, dawes device 297bhp at power engineering.Car has been like this for nearly 2 years.Always run on optimax and octane booster.
So for me its been very cheap and dare i say it reliable.
If your car is an Sti then i would say a remap is the way to go.

Kazlo,

If its a new age car then I would go for the remap. That way you know there is built-in safety and the remap will take into account any changes you want to make to your configuration, eg decat, freer flowing air filter, fuel type, etc. The choice is yours.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

WB
