Question Advice on using octane boosters

As title .....
Guys im running a MY94 WRX at the moment but the thing is, optimax is un-available round these parts,in fact 95ron is about it. so im using Silkolene Pro Boost ( Until I get a Remap)From reading up on this it seems U cant over do it with this stuff so what dosage would you recommend to bring the petrol as close to the magic 100
Cheers

Id suggest using Nitrous Formula (NF) in the black bottles; with SUL.

It is difficult; but its the only octane booster that really works, although Millers does have supporters here.

Im far from convinced that this product will bring the octane rating up to anything like 100RON; fuchs/Silkolene lubricant products are excellent but Id try to find NF if I were you. All products marketed as octane booster arent equal Im afraid.

Hi there. Unfortunetely, you won't get up to 100 RON by using the Pro-boost. About 2-3 RON is the max I'm affriad. So using about 1/2 a can to a full tank of fuel is normal for Pro-boost. On rally cars we use 1 can of pro-boost to 3 jerry cans of fuel. Another very good alternative is to use the CYCLO octane boost. PM me for details.

I can see this is going to be a real pain to begin with
I just hope that there is a huge grin factor when the turbo kicks in on these

I use 60ml of NF Black with Optimax in my WRX which has a 50 litre tank. This makes it one of the cheapest octane boosters as well as the best. As with all octance boosters you get a diminishing return, it also 'adds more' the lower the RON of the base fuel.

Have a look here if you arent convinced... Click on 'Enter'
