DCCD ? Help required anyone !
I have a my05 sti with dccd,
I was wondering if anyone out there can give me a quick break down of the differece in setting's
Having only had the car for 4 day's I have spent most of the time IN AUTO !
I just wanted to know or confirm what I think.
eg
I guess when not in auto the YAW sensor is enabled providing help with traction.
Lock
Must mean 60% rear 40% front...but what about the arrows
larger arrows at the top...does that mean more power to rear and the smaller the arrow the for 50 - 50 split becomes ????
Hope you can help as the driver manual does not tell you anything !

I read that post a while ago and still have a question (a bit thick you see!)
Where it indicates various stages of lock is that relating to how close it's getting to a 50/50 split (locked)
As standard the car is 65% rear and 35% front torque split so the DCCD gradually changes this to equal torque as you push the dial forward?
This is my interpretation - is this right?

Well have done some more reading and yes ! The lock option would mean 50/50 split rather than a 65% 35% split....
Well thats what I think........anyone ?

fully forward is diff free so 36:64
fully backward is diff lock so 50:50
it reverts back to diff free.....standard position.....so 36:64 is standard
diff free under normal driving conditions, and "diff lock" on gravel, snow, in the rain

thats just what I got from the post above....
don't think it means that you can only use the diff lock on gravel , snow , and the rain ...thats just what its best for.....
