Not sure if this is the correct place to post:

I have just bought a front grill from a MY99, did not notice when I bought it that one of the clips are broken on it.

There are two bits of plastic, with a bit that sticks out that goes in to a hole in the bumper.

Fixed Side

Question:
Is this something that can be fixed, or should it hold on as it is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but those two photos look alike?

If one of the clips is broken, which type? The fixed lug on the base, or the "sprung" plastic bit at the top?

IIRC, the top ones MAY be available from a Scoob dealer, or you might get one off a broken grille at GradeA etc.

The botton one, I'd repair with brass strip from a model shop, shaped, and bent at a right angle to sit correctly with a base, then held on with superglue and a self tapper through the base into the bottom of the grille. In use, it'd be invisible.

Model Shop....where can i find one of those? Is it simple as askiong one for a Brass Strip, and i assume is is bendable?
