Size difference ???
So who out there can tell me how much wider a 22B is compared to a P1 ???
Reason for asking is im limited to space in the garage as i have to squeeze the Z4 in there aswell.
Am i gonna have to tidy up the garage and throw stuff out to fit the B in there

Ah... I think I see the problem...
you should tell her the trousers aint big enough for the both of you and that you want to wear them
The other option, if you dont want to start WWIII, is to try and point out how special and rare the 22 is and how, and without saying the "common" word, replacable the Z4 is should anything untoward happen?
Im clutching at straws here... can you tell??
I probably should have just said I havent a clue as to how much wider the track is
Hold on a minute... I know someone that has recently "lost" a P1 and found a 22b... I'll ask him...
hang on...

This is his response...
"Not an easy one to answer mate.
The front wheel track is wider than the classic, the rear wheel track is wider than the front!
On top of that you have the flared arches etc.
To give you an idea, when I look in the wing mirror the outer edge of the rear arch lines up with the outer edge of the wing mirror.
I do have all the dimensions in the handbook if you really need to know.
BTW, an example of a 22B issue. I've spent all day trying to find rear discs, mine are shot at. Been everywhere, tried all sorts on but then wheels won't clear brake calipers. Finally gave in and rang dealer who said, laughing, "Ahh, 22B, different, bigger offset, specially made for the car. I'll send an email to IM who will contact STi. We'll get back to you."
Ive asked if he gets a spare second to have a quick glance in the handbook...
