Cool It's a done deal !

Finally did it - been working and living in Fife for 2 years and the prospect of another autumn, winter & spring of rear wheels slipping gracefully across the road has finally convinced me to buy an Impreza!

Went into my local(cupar) dealership and was well looked after. Will be placing my order for an STi tomorrow

Then just have to get thru the running-in process and try and sneek 2k outta the door past the wife for a PPP!

Looking forwards to finally getting it on the road.....

Nice one. See if the dealer will throw the PPP in with the car price, to be fitted at the 1k service, that way the missus won't know!

Should be able to get away with the PPP spend Unless she's a mechanic or browses this fourm she won't notice... Just don't swap the stereo, add new rear spoiler or FMIC won't get away with that as I found out.. Then you pull the but I was given it by a mate

Hmmm, given it by a mate - I would not get away with that one. Also, she is a decent driver so she will notice. Just counting on the -oh that goes faster- line.... 'Never give up - Never give in'.

1k service seems like the ideal time to do it...

Sounds like you'll have to resort to the 'It's faster now they've changed the running in oil' line....

The oil line might just work! Well saying that we went to the dealer's today and signed the order. She took the opportunity to take a my54 STi PPP out and had a grin from here to Xmas - whilst she was flooring it round a corner I asked if she would go halves on the cost at the 1K service - she said 'oh yes'.

Catch em off-guard is what I say!!!!!
