Thumbs down Rear Ended

Was in the traffic line, stationary, bored........

When bam, a lady driver "a woman" forgot to apply, what most men call, the brakes, and slam, hit the back end of my poor car.................

Luckily, very very little damage was done, it was dark and i'll have to check tomorrow for exhausts damage etc.

But come on........

Is it not time to have one lane for the lads and one for the ladies???????

Segregation?

I've been rear ended twice, both birds, not paying attention.

Hence why fitting a towbar, even if you have nothing to tow is a good idea.

what can i say one bird is bad enough doing something or other/makeup/mobile/admiring the view or countryside.
but then you get two birds together there is no concentration at all(too busy chatting and looking at each other i.e not paying too much attention of the
most important thing

Been there - 3 month old Impreza - new boot, boot floor, bumper, rear lights, quarter panels repaired, etc.

Know how you feel - lucky there is little or no damage

Happened to me just before christmas. A guy just knocked into the back of me. Found out its knocked the exhaust out of line (touching in tunnel and on diff), broke number plate screw and small scuff on bumper (3 inches long). But the final bill is over £1,000.
And now he's saying its my fault!
Best of luck with it.

Out of the three rear ended accidents I have had 1 ones an old guy who hit the go faster pedal instead of the stop pedal in a stationary cue of traffic and the other two where by young girls who had not been driving very long!!!

He did try to drive off, but i managed to get the key sout of his ignition and call the police who turned up in 3mins... (thats a 1st)

He paid out for the damadges in cash, as i found out where he lived

i think near £1800!

New Rear Panel, new Quater Panel, bumper + fixings, lights and few other little bits!

Petty the garage screwed up the paint job...so had to sell the car
Luckely did not loose a penny on it as the person who bought it could not tell..

Looked spot on

rear ended 3 times in last 12 months
first time by a woman (in a queue at traffic lights, "I was concentrating on other things")
second time by a woman (Car was stationary, parked outside my house!!!!)
third time by a man (had a woman as a passenger though!)(car was again stationary, parked outside my house)

Luckily only one of these was the Impreza, but the bill for that was £3000 +

i'm going to fit bull bars to the front and back of my bug.

That should sort any problem out.
