Question advice with DCCD

I recently got into my 05 STi and have not yet attempted to use my DCCD. I really dont understand when to use it and what setting to put it on for different conditions.
Can you give me some advice on when and where and what setting to use?
Thanks

Heard different stories...however i use mine on 1-2 clicks for the twisties and maybe one more notch if it was wet/icy /snowy.Dont use the top clicks..as im no Petter Solberg And you can brake the diff if used wrong
