Exclamation Derbyshire Constabulary

Just received a letter from the above, first reaction was speeding fine! but as i always obey the speed limits dismissed this on opening it was a warning about a spate of thefts of WRX,STI & Evo's from the Derbyshire Dales, High Peak area so be careful!!! (if your daft enough to venture up here in this weather)

yeah my mother-in-law works in HQ at Ripley Derbyshire, and told me all about this letter to be sent to everybody in the derbyshire area with what they call a high risk car. i.e. All Scooby`s, Evo`s and BMW X5`s. She told me they`ve had lots stolen in the county and see it as a major problem.

Not recieved one in Chesterfield, nor heard of any being nicked down here.

Is it just Buxton Division that's issued the letter or is accross the county?

Cheers.

Why are Notts police not doing this , there seems to also be a high risk factor around here as well.

Get your Diskloks on and make sure your car is locked and alarmed up, also there car jacking high performance cars as well, so if your driving around a 'dodgy' area keep your windows up and doors locked, don't give them the chance!!!

At last it is nice to see the police doing something worth while, for a change.

Hi Andy iam fine thanks, hope everybody is well down on the lowlands. Not heard any more but know another non scoobynetter in Buxton that has received the same letter. It also had a sales pamphlet for Tracker in with the letter so it might be the police are on commission for scare tactic sales
