Prodrive PP fitted or not?

Prodrive PP fitted or not?
Is there any way you can tell or check if a PPP has been fitted?
Also is it safe to run a UK car on standard unleaded or should it be super/optimax?
Thanks for any info.

Should certainly be 'Max on PPP'd cars. There should be a certificate of fitment for the PPP (although I haven't got one ) and if not you can get a replacement sent from IM ( must remember). Either way, your dealer can check on the database. Or you can check some of the items yourself. If the tailpipe is a large single round one (as opposed to the twin peashooters) branded Prodrive, the visible pipework under the intercooler is blue and branded, and compared to a standard it should have 1 less cat, then it's probably got PPP. The other tell-tale is, it goes like stink

Cheers for that info.
I've put a deposit on a UK 300 last week, it has the Prodrive stamp on the tail pipe and a Sti rear wing, will check under the bonnet when I pick it up next week.
It wasn't advertisted with PPP may be the garage doesn't know about it.
P.S. what is IM? This is my first Scooby and new to this site.
Thanks

Personally, my view is that it's a performance car, you get out what you put in! I use Optimax in mine! :-)
I'm assuming you're not buying from a Subaru Garage, they should be able to check very easily!
Best.

Brun is correct, UK300 was the first new age motor to be offered the £1600 PPP, but they all came with 215bhp and you could pay the 1600 extra for the PPP

The UK300 has prodrive cosmetic parts on it as standard which is why you are seeing prodrive badges on it. A dealer should be able to confirm if the pack is installed or not.

It should have the PPP document with the other paperwork for the car. My UK300 had a Prodrive PPP confirmation document which said what date it was fitted with chassis number etc etc on it

MPT, what you paid for your UK300 if you dont mind me asking?
I am thinking of selling my 2001 30K on clock, one previous owner to me, immaculate, PPP fitted from new, Subaru Warranty remaining. Other than that totally standard and extremely well cared for just need a diesel nowadays!
