Default £100K... What Would You Buy????

A customer has asked me to help him buy a car as he knows little about them but as he says 'Just likes Cars'.

He has around £100K to spend.

What would you advise??

Aston DB9
Lambo Gallardo
911 Turbo
Noble, 2 x Sti's and an original Mini Cooper?

Any other thoughts.

That's very naughty... I'd use a vauxhall and pocket even more change

I'm sure I'll get slated for this, but if I had 100K I'd find it hard to resist buying one of these.

MG SV

And I'd still have 20k spare for the repair bills when it falls apart!

If he doesnt want anythign too sporty, consider the 2door BMW 645 or the merc sl55 amg. I wouldnt personally but, he may prefer a bit of luxury.

The ariel atom will satisfy all of his petrol head needs I suggest you get him something like a luxury car for £50k, then a sports car like an STI and an ariel atom for the remaining £50k, Thats all he will need to be honest. Hope its helped

the gallardo.

sounds like it's the easiest lambo ever to drive quickly. even i could probably hit 60 without stuffing it

the 400 brake EVO?

r34 skyline? would have enough change to turn it into a proper flying machine

or something like a dodge viper to be different (don't know how much they are though)

with a dodge u pay £80k and they dont even convert it into RHD!! R34 GTR, with a stroked engine capacity to 2800cc's and then tune it as high has you want! Even spending £20k on it will have it beating most cars out there. Gorgeous cars.

A mate of mine was in the same position, although he had a slightly higher budget. He ended up with a 360 Modena F1. He test drove virtually everying thing else on the list, his comments not mine:

Porsche 996 Turbo: Did nothing for me
Jag XKR: Are you serious?!
Lambo Gallardo: Like an Audi on the inside
Mercedes SL AMG: Why would I want ANOTHER one?
Bentley GT: Maybe in 20 years time
Any BMW: Been there, done that, everyone seems to be driving them!

To be fair, he didn't look at an Aston, I think he missed out there.

I took him out in the Scoob, he said how quick it was

It's got to be a 911 GT3 for me. In black.

It's not really a car for the faint hearted though. If he doesn't really know much about cars then he's not really going to be the ideal candidate to drive one and appreciate one.

If I had the 100 to spend I'd probably get 2 or 3. An SUV of some sort, maybe a JDM Impreza. The S203 does look lovely. Then an Atom.

One for all purposes.

If I had a 100K to spend, I'd pay off all my debt and then by a big mac meal (I couldn't afford to large size it though- that would take me over the 100K)
