Reminds me of when we ran out of petrol in a Porsche 911 and spluttered into the nearest petrol station and brimmed it with SUL.
Woman behind the counter said she'd never seen so much petrol go into one car in one go
Must admit I was stood by the pump for what seemed to be an enternity - and the cost wasn't far from £100

general question:
why do i keep reading about owners on here talking about trading to a diesel ?
because of the consumption of the scooby?

Optimax is even better when the company you work for pays for it, including Saturdays.

Never had a comment from a petrol station but when the barmaid in the pub opposite the college where I used to work had my pint already pulled as I walked through the door, I started to think perhaps I should spend an occasional lunchtime in the staff canteen!
(That thought didn't last long!)

how do i get one of these magical points cards, i spend about £40 a week on the damn stuff, so i may as well get something back! It has happily dropped from 89.6 a litre to 86.6 a litre in the past week so that's something to be pleased about

Shell sent me a new pluspoints card with Optimax written on it. I also got a welcome to the "Optimax" club letter - I am now entitled to double the bonus pluspoints as regular users. I spent 85 quid in petrol on Monday alone

After posting on this thread yesterday I subsequently worked out I spend between £4000-£5000 a year on Optimax so reckon I could almost buy a suit at next with my points...
