Don't understand this comment. I thought Harvey was running a near 600bhp car as an everyday run-around without problems and he's been a this game for a while, or am I seriously misinformed?

No it was me being inquisative??
I just cannot see this type of power being relaible for serious mileage.
Without a very strict and expensive service schedule.

From my own limited experience with very modified cars they dont last that long UNLESS they are built with very good components.
Very much like the Evo 400.
Its that money because on the components used to make it last three Years without any issues.

my uk99 owes me
7000
200
200
150
55
120
50
150
100
12
450
180
250
50
350
96

its running on the happy side of 300 doing 120miles a day
total mileage = 105,000 and rising

admittedly I get fuel card from work and only pay about £50 pcm tax to include private mileage.
with well chosen mods and a realistic budget 300 is possible out of a classic, the ptw ratio is a little bit friendlier as well
