This man has really worked wonders with my 96uk scoob , He has done most of the modding himself, he has turned it in to late 300bhp ?????? so what do you think, 6 speed (uk) (fitted by steven / david) AP clutch, K/L , dawes afr, 3" full decat scooby mania, D/P roger clarke, TD 05/06 walbro 341 fuel pump, SX fpr, apexi power fc, (jonny gav) 550 injectors, brembo brakes, morrette headlights, MRT fmic >> (now welded ) induction mod - side entry, gruppe s headers and flexi up pipe, (steven) >> various other power mods sshhh , and andy f , mapping 3 times now , if Ive miss some thing I think some one will tell me , thanks all , Alan.

arron... plenty of cars at similar spec been running for over a year using 6k service schedules that I know of.. and no problems so far
although Im beginning to think my gearbox is living on borrowed time

Very much like the Evo 400.
Its that money because on the components used to make it last three Years without any issues.

ive got virtually the same spec as alan, except he has a FMIC and i have a TMIC and i dont have any engine problems in fact i dont even get anymore than a green flicker at 6900rpm in 4th gear plus i know a few other people who have been running similar spec for ages as long as its mapped right

its running on the happy side of 300 doing 120miles a day
total mileage = 105,000 and rising
admittedly I get fuel card from work and only pay about £50 pcm tax to include private mileage.
with well chosen mods and a realistic budget 300 is possible out of a classic, the ptw ratio is a little bit friendlier as well
