Talking Race of Champions

I had a fabulous time watching Schumaker lose to a great Finnish driver this weekend, however when back home I tried to tape the television coverage only to be seriously p****ed off by Eurosports doing their normal and showing Greek football in the advertised time supposed to be showing ROC! Does anyone out there have a copy of the video they could possibly pass on to me? Unfortunately I spent too much time screaming at DC as to where the accelerator pedal is to take any decent pics!

The thing that got me was that at the beginning of the Eurosport coverage we were told that due to his contract MS was only aloud to drive vehicles made under the Ferrari/Fiat group which only aloud him to drive the 360's and the bike engined buggies!!! WTF was he entered if he couldnt race in all the categories like all the other drivers.

Was really dissapointed with the Brits too. First time out and on the first corner McRae ***** the bollards nice and hard and DC drives with no agression whatsoever.

What really got me was when MS and Massa did battle and Massa was first across the line. We are then told he was given a penalty for hitting the barrieirs unbeknown to the cameras or even MS himself. This is after Toby Moody says to MS "congratulations on the win" only for MS to respond with "but I didnt, Fillipe beat me across the line" did I switch over.

Should have kept the usual venue without the stupid rules given to this years format. Watching the drivers **** the earth banking in previos years was one of the many highlights. If they continue with this years format I wont be watching it again.

Don't have a copy sorry, but I don't understand your point.

My television listing said British Eurosport were showing coverage from 15.30 until 6pm, then 6pm until 9 for the second part. And thats exactly what happened give or take a bit.

Anyway, it was pretty rubbish anyway, so you're not missing much.
Team GB were ****, no.....even worse!

It needs to go back to its original location, on loose surface with a bit of tarmac/concrete.
Then you have some real skill instead of just 100% tarmac.

Default Still need that video!

I was there watching it. So I couldn't record the show over the weekend! It was advertised at 1045pm Sunday night about 10 miins after I got back, but instead of showing it they showed football.

I think the penalty system was pretty unfair. Also in the final country championship Finland would have won had their Ferrari been able to get out of second gear. Hmmm something fishy there I think. Though we were at a disadvantage watching it live as there was no English commentary. So it got a bit confusing. Still Massa did beat Shcuey in real terms, fair and square and how often will he be able to say he's done that! All fairness to the French, the layout was great. The racing was fabulous, just a shame DC couldn't use his right foot very well.

I've received your PM and replied

A moderator is a nice person

I don't tend to access MSN that often because it's blocked from work PCs.

The worst thing about the Eurosport coverage was that the sound was crap, it would have been nice to actually hear the cars, IMHO.
