If you get a scooby or any one of the said mentioned you'll have to open a bank account with Shell and you will be on first name basis with the man/lady behind the counter!

Yes go for it...A change will change your live...do it!!!

bit of a lottery really mate, dont know of anyone having major trouble with skylines, evos running costs are generally high due to short service intervals mainly down to ayc think it has to go to dealer to be sorted about every 4k,import scoobies generally youre gonna have bits and bobs up with em based on them bein classics, coz of their age,ive got a my/oo had it a year done 10k without any trouble or major costs apart from changing the oil about every 3.5-4k.It really is luck of the draw though with classic imprezas got 2 other mates with uk`s, ones had crank trouble others had 2 rebuilds this year (50k with full service history) bought with full subaru warranty luckily.Easier just to go out and buy the one that drives best dont worry too much about running costs and dont ask too many people about problems theyve had as it will probably put you off.
