Get the cheapest one that Tesco will accept, make sure it is absolute sh1te. then with any luck if your car gets nicked and ragged within an inch of its life, they won't find it

I've got the RAC Trackstar as standard, it still took them 4 weeks to send me the certificate though for various reasons, which meant the car wasn't covered for theft. I had a few sleepless nights

Needs to be a least a tracker monitor for tescos, retreive is the basic one. £400 is too dear for the retreive anyway.

If you have to have one of these rip off devices tham you may want it to be CAT 5 compliant. Insurers may want this in future.

Personally any device that has a visible GPS receiver is a waste of time IMHO.

Their fees are uelievable too - wanted £80 from me just to check if it was working on my new used car. Ohh that's on top of £30 membership trans fee, and £300 for life subscription (life cover NOT transferrable between owners of course).

It leaves me thinking who the THIEVES actually are

I just saw an add for rac trackstar plus for £299 + fitting but you get a camera detection equipment free!

Any good? or still go cheaper?

Try and make sure you can find somewhere that you can get a personal recommendation from. The product may be good but if it is fitted bad then it could be a waste of money

And if they see a GPS receiver on the dash after they are clever enough to disable your Cat 1 immobiliser... [I just dont get it...]
