Getting hold of 05 PPP - help!
Hi Guys,
Have ordered my 05 wrx ppp - my dealer said that prodrive are having problems producing the software and that it is unavailable.
I am taking my car on 30th Nov minus ppp on the premise that I have it fitted in around 6 weeks.
Is this a load of twoddle? Has anyone experienced this?
Cheers

Hi Mike
Thanks for this as my MY05 WRX is booked in on 6 Dec for the install. Can you advise what, if any, difference there is between the MY05 and MY04 PPP on a WRX? Any power/torque differences or just small changes? Thanks
Andy

Mike,
Thanks for clearing that up.... direct from the brake horses mouth!! (In fact I got a phone call today from my local dealer to say it was now available)
Can I suggest you get on to your guys to update your website as it has no mention of the availability yet..... and is most persons first point of call when trying to find stuff out I presume.
Regards,
Shaun.

There are small technical differences between 04 & 05MY cars but the performance packages for 05MY are quoted at the same figures as 03/04MY.
Shaun
Point taken, not had chance to do it yet and we were waiting for WRX to be signed off in any case.

Cheesy
No plans at the moment but it may be something we look at in the future. BTW, it was an 02MY so that would have been an STi 8
Thankyou for the kind words and I hope the face isn't aching too much from the grinning
To answer the original question, the 05MY WRX PPP IS now available.

Cheesy - I think what Mike is getting at is that the 01 STI (JDM only) was the STi7, the 02 was the STi8, the latest is the 05 which is STi11, etc - at least in many people's books (hence his ) Meanwhile, some people call all bugeyes STi7s, and all blobs STi8. I think the official line is that they are only called "STi" - i.e. no number. To avoid argument, I'd stick with 02 STi, 05 STi etc . . .

I'm with hades... It's a much simpler system to use and understand
Forgot to mention earlier, for Shaun's benefit, we've also updated the website at www.prodrive.com
