Default 240 + THE VAT FOR A NEW MAF????????

I have just been quoted £240 + the vat for a new maf for my V6 type r by a subaru dealer. I asked is it because its an import " errrr yeah proberly"
I'm sure it was around the £100 mark for my old MY00 uk turbo. How much should I be paying and where from?

cheers Stevie

ask for this part number

Maf part number 22794AA010

should £70 to £100.

The 240 price includes the MAF housing

Lol this must be the most popular thread topic on Scoobynet. Just take the part number in that P20SPD has given you on a piece of paper and give it to them and tell them to just order it.

Yep all MY99/00 are the same, should be no more than £75 and all you need is a T20 Secure Torx bit

I just sawed mine with a hacksaw so a normal screwdriver would fit.
