They sell 'dogs' - or at least the one I saw. When looking to buy a scoob I phoned them having seem their advert for saloon on a an s plate. Excellent condition for it's age 1 owner....
well if you could have seen the state it was in - dings, scratches on the bodywork and it needed a lot of attention.
The inside was disgusting, seats worn and it stank of god knows what. I took my boyfriend and his mate with me and we took one look around it handed back the keys and walked straight off the forecourt. Simply told him it was'nt what I was looking for!
Apart from the fact it turned out to be a wagon.
Perhaps everything else is top notch - I just have'nt experienced it.
As for SGT - the less said the better.....

Yes, when I first visited Bulldog, I was originally looking for a classic and have to admit that the silver V Reg one on offer was pants - probably like the one little'un viewed. There was a nice blue bugeye next to it and the contrast was massive - so much so that my wife fell in love with the bugeye.
Anyway, I think that Bulldog servicing dept. seems OK to me.

ty for the advice - I have nothing against Bulldog or SGT it's just that I know about them and was making sure I knew what my options were before handing over the cash. I've only had the car 3 weeks so I want a decent job done and not get ripped.
FYI - Loads of scoobs in Reading but no bugger waves - too cool or just miserable?

For servicing/mods etc., don't forget to consider Len at 'Subaru4You'. For me, it would be a toss up between him and Bulldog, with both quoting much the same for a 50,000 mile service with cambelt change on my Bugeye.

Not quite Reading, however not that far either. I use the guys at Tuning Japanese Professional to the end.
