Last night, had just picked a friend up to go and play squash near Crystal Palace, as we were getting in the car we noticed a green Corsa racing up and down the road with two Chavs in it. Just thought to myself "couple of right ****"

Anyway, get down to the bottom of the road which is a T Junction, the chav scum come tearing up the road behind us and are jumping up and down in the car pointing at the scoobie, i turn right and pull up on the left straight away to give way to an oncoming car (tight road, parked cars on each side), the next thing i know the chav scum smack into the back of the Scooby. I ask mate if he is ok and go to get out of the car, I then notice the scum are running at full pelt up the road.

We gave chase for about 70m but then lost them.

We had a look at the Corsa it had been hotwired

Called the police they came down and took all the details, they said that there is a group of 8 kids that they think it could be, they are fingerprinting etc but I don't hold out much hope.

Only had the car 1.5 months, I am starting to wonder if the Scooby really does attract the wrong kind of attention

Damage equates to dented and fecked paint on the bumper

Can Anyone recommend a good body shop in south London?

Bummer mate I think you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Youl could have been in any car and they would have still spotted someone to try and race

Really sorry to hear about the damage to your car mate, I hope you get it fixed very soon.

Well these morons are just dumb enough to have left their fingerprints all over the car and if they are known to the police I dare say they'l be caught. What kind of sentance they get is another matter though.

If the damage isn't too bad (just bumper damage) I can recommend little knocks in North London who could take care of it fairly inexpensively. They are also fellow Scooby nuts, so your car will be in good hands.

I second that. Little Knocks is well worth the trip, but I would give them a ring first. You'll find them near the M40/M25 junction...
