Unhappy HELP

MY93 impreza keeps cutting out. I have just give it a service plugs the lot.. The revs dip up and down on tickover please can someone help me. Also my car failed its mot last week on (immistions) its had a full decat but it went through ok last year without it have you got any more ideas...

Possible lamda (oxygen) or MAF (mass air flow) sensor.

Have you just changed your oil?
if so it might be the wrong type for your car, please check most of these cars
require half or full synthetic oil this could be your problem.

the oil is very important if you buy any chance f**k the oil up you totally toasted, make sure it is the right one also have you changed your fuel lately??

Hi all
It was doing it before the oil change. How can you tell if its the maf.

If you change the MAF and it still does it.

Its not the MAF.

Dont start changing bits randomly its expensive, i had a misfire problem and everyone on Scoobynet was great but i would have bought every part under the sun, Take it to a specialist, i use Prosport in Stockport who are great, they will put a computer on and tell you exactly what it is, in my case a duff lamda sensor

0161 432 9999 is the number
