Default Previous cars (including the embarrassing ones if any)

Come on then list them and be honest!+before your scooby which was the best, most reliable etc+ which was the worst? (Ha ha scooby and reliable in the same sentense knew id see it one day) Mine have been- escort mk3 1.3l,escort mk3 xr3i,fiesta mk2 xr2,1986 audi 80 sport,series2 escort rs turbo,my dads sierra estate after i ran out of money repairing the RS,new pug 106gti in 99,up to present now got a my/00. The best fun and most reliable being the xr2,the worst being the rs i only had it 9mths bk in 1995,it was only 6rs old with 58k on it bought it private- 2nd wk i had it the oil pump packed up(took turbo with it) then gearbox, later on headgasket, abs probs, and a few other bits and bobs, hadnt the patience then that ive got now so got rid.Lost about 2k in the process as i traded it in at a ford dealer(it were that unreliable i just couldnt sell it anyone ha ha the guilt would have killed me)

Fantastic!! I expected quick, but not THAT quick! Little tricky off the line (wheelspin), but stunningly quick once moving - not much does 50-70 in 5th in 5 seconds! Got some confused looks off people who heard the dump value chip! Certainly had more punch than my mates classic WRX. Dont know why I ever sold that car

Vauxhall Chevette (good fun first car, double wishbone front and well located rear axle, much better than a basic rwd escort)
Mk 1 Astra 1.6 SR (Wide tyres, good brakes 100,000 miles of thrashing)
Manta GTE coupe' Black one (good value tailout action)
Manta GTE coupe' Silver one
Mk1 MR2 (Fantastic)
Mk1 MR2
Opel Monza GSE (Fast, 2 tonnes sliding sideways makes you concentrate)
Opel Manta GTE Coupe' sort of muddy gold one
Nissan 200SX S13 (Fast, laggy, unreliable, fun, sideways down the M6)
Mk3 MR2 (Best handling car I have ever owned)
and Ford Escort 1.6 as runabout
EVO VI (Best car I have ever owned, drove from Milan to Lancaster in 15 hours)
and Ford Escort 1.4 as runabout
Blob STi type UK (good, but not as good as the EVO, but cheaper to run)
and Toyota Celica GT4 ST185 as a fast runabout (two 4wd turbo cars on the drive , celica feels more sporty having a lower driving position, come on toyota, make a 4wd turbo car again ! )

1939 Ford V8 in Canada-great car
1940 Studebaker also a good car
1950 Vauxhall Velox in Canada, so bad it was thrown away.
1949 Bristol 400, in UK. Beautifully made car.
1950 Veritas sports racer (German made) and driven by Karl Kling to win a 500 mile race at the Ring.
Citroen ID19, very comfortable
Lotus Cortina Mk 1, outstanding car, the original Scooby after I tuned the engine
Jaguar 3.4 Mk2, great for towing the racer.
1951 Leyland Tiger Cub bus to transport the racer. Everyone used to fight to drive that one.
Austin 1100-little roller skate!
Austin mini van, transport for the scrambler.
Lancia Aurelia GT- very fast car for its time
Ford 1600e, good car
Ford Capri 2 litre, ok for cruising
BMW 528i fast but tail happy
BMW 735i very comfortable and fun to drive.
M535i E12. Pretty historic and very fast too.
Jaguar Sovereign, comfortable but a bit of a motor boat.
Vauxhall Omega, amazingly good round corners
Vauxhall Vectra 2 litre boring
Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6 SRI. Much better and went well
Impreza JDM STi MY 94, Well modified, close on 300 bhp and the suspension all sorted. Best fun of the lot! but Mrs Leslie did not like it
BMW M3 Evolution. Very good car indeed and similar to the Scoob in performance and round corners too. Ok for Mrs Leslie thank goodness.

Plus several racers I built and also a Brabham BT23C to finish with for F Libre races.
Countless 'bikes, the fastest was the Kwacker ZX12R.

Thats a big list leslie!

1) Vauxhall Nova 1.0 2 door saloon (not a bad first car)
2) Peugeot 106 1.1 Escapade (not very reliable despite beinga brand new one!)
3) Peugeot 205 1.9 Gti With full bodykit, half leather etc, loved this one! Not very reliable though...
4) Escort xr3i Erm, moving on...
5) Escort 1.6lx (an attempt at a sensible newish family car)
6) Toyota Supra 3.0 Turbo (one of my favourites, sold it to my mate who has tarted it up, looks well smart now)
7) Mondeo ST24 (liked this one, but steering rack and exhaust needed replacing after a year, so got shot)
8) Subaru Impreza 02 Sti-uk with PPP - Favourite to date, and still love it!

Love peugeot's for drivability, but don't rate them reliability wise, wouldn't have another one. Don't have anything against Ford's but don't see them as being in the same class as a scoob. Just my opinion though!

bloody hell, never counted before! the mk1 astra was my 1st and will always have a special place in my heart (it even had a cherry bomb - remember them?!)
the following 5 cars were all bought and sold cheap from auction within year - the b10 was awsome - after chucking the astra through a ditch - backwards - at 90 mph. no 10&11 were co. cars and no. 12 is the current money eater.

Without going back too far.....

1. Vauxhall Viva (joke)
2. Fiat Strada (similar, but not funny)
3. Sierra 1.6 POS (Dreadful)
4. Sierra 1.6 POS (even worse)
5. Escort XR3i (broke down on 1st day, and had warranty work outstanding 10 months later. No power and handling to match)
6. Escort RS Turbo (better, although not wonderful, but unreliable and used 5 exhausts, 5 sets of fronts disks and 6 sets of front pads in 50k)
7. Honda Civic VTI (quickest and best handling to this point, until some prat pulled out in front of me at a roundabout and wiped it out)
8. Honda Accord SE (comfy, but disapointing handling and performance)
9. '98 Turbo (put a silly grin on my face the whole time I had it, and ran like clockwork)
10. P1 (even bigger smile, but a few niggly problems)
11. STi 8 (excellent. With PPP, Prodrive springs and 18's it was brilliant, although did lack the rawness of the P1)
12. WR1 (far and away the bast of the lot. No idea where to go from here)

Oh this one is easy Josh
JDM STi with twin scroll and quick rack steering
When run in and using an STi panel filter, your gains should be greater than that of the WR1 (especially in the torque department) and if you get bored you can always get it remapped

One stupid choice - Renault Clio 172, said I'd never buy french rubbish...Thought I'd give them a chance - what a mistaka to maka..

Travelling back and forth to college in my Dad's black Vauxhall Chevette estate - needless to say did'nt quite fit in the fiesta 1.4 fraternity at Henley college who sported go faster stripes with their names included on the sides (apparently all the rage for certain toffs)

Beetle 1600
Golf 1.3
Astra 1.6i and 2.0 sport
Hyundai Coupe
Vectra x2
Golf VR6 with Corrado 2.9 lump
Astra Turbo
Cavalier GSi
Not cars but also Honda CBR400 and Ninja ZX6.

then the best one yet..
Impreza Classic UK Turbo
