Red face Is this correct?

My fuel guage registers the amount even when ignition is turned off wrx01. Is this correct? I dont think this is a good idea, ideal for the would be scally car thief. Is there a MOD for this?

Also do even the new scoobs have the same boot opener from inside the car?

TIA

Ballasted fuel guages have been with us for 15 years now; theres no way around it, they stay on as theyd take such a long time to register if they went off with the ignition. An empty tank will be remedied with a drive off; it makes no difference at all so dont worry.

Do you really think half tank vs full tank will put any scum off nicking your motor?
