Post Scooby BLUES
I sold my RB5 WRSPORT in June and since then I've been looking for another car
I've tried
Alfa GT 2.0 JTS
Alfa GT 3.2 V6 (this was really nice)
Honda Integra DC5
M3
M5
BMW 330csi
Vauxhall Monaro
Mazda Rx8 192 and 230
Nissan 350z
Evo7 and 8
Merc C230 komp (wake me up when we get there)
Porsche Boxter 2.7 and 3.2s (3.2 s was a surprise)
But none of them have that grin factor like the scooby had except the EVO's but there's no way I'd want to run 1
It was easy when i bought the scoob, I wanted a scoob and I wanted it NOW but now
I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT

New scooby it is, then. I started getting a bit bored of mine a few months ago and started looking around at alternatives. I discounted some of the ones you've suggested as being too impractical, others as too expensive, and as for the Alfa, I gave up when I looked over one in the showroom and found the interior trim release lever... Shocking build quality, even the one in the showroom had a broken driving mirror and the dash was showing marks already.
So, I ended up test driving an Evo FQ-300 - a car for which I have huge respect but which I actually found rather flat and uninvolving - and a range of different STIs. I ended up ordering a JDM '05 STI, which was the only car I found that I actually liked more than my old car (MY00+PPP).

Not sure of your budget, but why not try a R34 GTR Skyline? If that doesn't light your fire then nothing will! And with a few cheeky mods, you're looking at any easy 400 bhp..

It seems to me that you want a scoob, just buy a scoob & be done with it
scoob, scoob, scoob, scoob, scoob
why dont you do a poll & see what everyone thinks ??
Scoob Vs Evo

New scoob ??
I just don't like them plus I would like to try something different.
As the Evo goes, a good friend of mine has a 7, he's told me about the servicing cost, fuel consumption, weak clutch etc and not being the most mechanically sympathetic person in the world I think it's best if I stay away from them.
I have seen a Mini Cooper s Works that looks fun

A guy I used to work with who lives on the Isle of Man sold his Boxster S and bought a Cooper S Works, he loves it to bits.
Might still be worth a spin in Iain Litchfield's MY05 JDM STI, though, just to be sure
