astounding: save 1000 on wrx insurance
well. sort of. I'm moving from the Isle of Dogs in central London to the Highlands. Tesco insurance on a wrx wagon with PPP has gone down from a garaged 1740 to an offstreet 744 per annum (pay monthly).
I am astounded. In the 5 years that I've had two scoobs I've paid around 5 grand extra in insurance just for the E14 postcode.
I've had my bugeye for 3.5 years. So thats about 6090 of insurance payments - more than 50% of todays value of the car! So they thought that by 3.5 years there was a 50% probability that the scoob would have been w/o... or nicked...
