Talking Can DCCD be retrofitted to a MY04 STi

Not plannning on it but just arming myself with facts before entering a debate

No it cant be fitted to the MY04 Sti unless its a JDM spec which will already have it

But then again someone once told me i couldnt fit a cossie engine into a mk2 fiesta & guess what i done it

But 3 weeks later i lost the back end & ended up rolling it

Why? Change the diffs(?), add the extra gubbins into the dash and centre console and you're done?

I believe there's some modification required to the gearbox too, plus you'd need the electronics. I think it's one of those things that can be done in theory, but in practise you'd be much better off just selling the car and buying a new one which has it already.

Yes it can be done, different centre diff, electronic gismo but it will be cheaper to buy a JDM STi with it already fitted than buy these parts seperately from Subaru, trust me
