A recent thread about roof dents reminded me about this tonight. A few weeks ago around 3am I was awakened by a strange noise followed by cheering and applause. This was initially in the distance but the whole cycle was repeated time after time, gradually getting louder. As I gradually came to, I got up and looked out the window to see 3 drunk ******* running over the cars parked in our street. Luckily my STi was safely tucked away but that didn't stop me nearly blowing a gasket. Dilemma: do I go out and face them and risk getting a pasting, or do I phone the police? Decided to use the trusty 999 facility and the police appeared with quite amazing rapidity up an adjoining street and caught the wasters red handed. I went out in the am to go to work and there were about 12 cars with dents in the bonnet, roof and boot. Lucky they were stopped as there were about another 20 motors further on, on their route. Got a phone call about 10 days later from the local police thanking me and letting me know that all three were done good and proper. They were all medical students. Hope they got a very strong dose of proper medicine, the b@stards. Wouldn't you just like to have had their life in your hands?

There is a chance that they will pay up. A couple of years ago some idiots went around damaging over 200 door mirrors. I reported them and made a claim, and got the lot back.

Bugger - and there was me thinking that 'Ned nocturnal olympics' was a thread about some braggard talking about a some late night passion with his missus. I was intrigued as to how the scooby link was so strong it hadn't been moved!!
