That WR1 is pushing some serious serious power and handling that is second to none.

If you want something that will keep up with Nobles (both on road and track)- with none of the reliability probs then that's your car!!

For £40,000 you could buy a late Noble, low miles and have it under warranty.

It's a no brainer.

This must be THE WR1 that achieved the 0-100 time! Quick I must go buy it?

Oh on second thoughts I'll stick with my JDM, It's better than the WR1 anyway

hawk .. not it's not the 365hp one. The one they have there still has the warranty intact and is a demonstrator of the WR1 PLus package.

Oh and regarding the Noble - I would rather have a WR1 that can keep up with an early Noble as a very good friend of mine who has a GTO (and a warranty) tells me over and over again what a bad car it is - as the bottom end has gone twice, amoungst other things!!

The GTO M400 is a different story though - that is awesome!!

Lol I don't reckon he'll be far out with that. P1's were £20 ish when less than a year old.

probably! cos it won't be standard anymore. like cars with 15k mods spent on them that don't sell for 15k more than standard cars if they sell at all

Lol another nice one steps up. P1s are still £20k now!!! Find me an add for a 1 year old one (back in the day) even close to £20k mate!! Matey boy at work had one and sold it after a year for 28.5k.

Indeed.

Before I bought my STi (In March) I was looking at getting a P1.

All the really nice ones were 18.5 - 19k

Only the really high miliage ones were any less than that.

There are P1's on Autotrader as low as £13.5K now But its irrelevant really, as all cars lose money in large amounts.

WR1 and JDMs have helped push that down. And the next ltd edition will help push down the WR1 residuals. Just hope I don't develop a chip about it like some have

Ill take 20k for my P1 and its late and minto with extended warranty.

The depreciaition on a £40k WR1 will be frightening

Early Nobles? You can get 03 nobles low mileage for £40,000.

In any case if reliability you're after as well as fantastic performance then it has to be a 993 turbo Depreciaition isn't even an option.

bang on! if you can afford to buy, run and insure a 993 turbo I doubt depreciation would matter

and I hope it doesn't matter to me one day cos the 911 turbo was always my preferred 'supercar'. and they just seem to keep getting better....

fOR what its worth I would say £40k for an Impreza is (a) pretty unachievable and (b) worth less than £25k within 18 mths

So after waiting 18 mths, what do we get for our £24k?
