English Handbook
#1
Seeing as alot of you have got imported Scoobies, I was wondering where I can get an English handbook from? Mine is in Dutch at the mo. Pictures are nice
Also can I get an English service book, or do I have to keep the dutch one because of the info the supplying garage has filled in?
Thanks
Mojo

You should be able to get both from your local dealer.
I spoke to Bell & Colvill who said they would be happy to provide both. If I recall they said the Handbook costs around £10.
I'll pick mine up when I have the first service done.

I thought that those of us who have chosen to import from Europe had to make do with a Dutch (or whatever) service book?
Has anyone else successfully obtained a Service book from a UK dealer??

Thanks for all the replies.
The general consensus (sp) is this,
You can buy a replacement handbook (in english) from any Subaru dealer for about £6.50.
As for service books, you have to make do with the dutch versions. This is due to the english ones having details of the three year warranties printed in them.
So it looks like the service book will serve as evidence to second hand buyers as to whether the car has been imported.

I picked up my DBM 5-dr from Frits Kempen in Holland last Thursday and he had a Uk manual for me. The service book is in dutch and the warranty is tied to the car by this so you will be unlikely to get a UK service book.
