New to this forum, but in desperate need of some advice, i have just purchased a 02 plate impreza WRX, I have wanted one of these cars for years and finally got one.

The power in the car is superb even when standard, but i have found that when the roads are wet or damp it feels really scary to drive. When i corner in these conditions, the whole car feels kinda light and not to comfortable at all.

Is this the way they drive?? My first thought was to maybe change the tyres, it has continental tyres on the front and wanli tyres on the back(never heard of them)

Any advice would be greatly apreciated

First stop is to get the same rubber all round. Goody F1's or Toyo's being the faves round here

I have the MY03 WRX and hated my standard Bridgestones for handling. I am now using Toyo Proxes T1-R and as far as i am concerned they are the dogs b0ll0x
As for there wet handling, well, awesome!
