Just driving in Ipwich and the local Mazda Dealer has quite a few Subarus for sale. Someone said they had been taken over by donalds.

Haddocks are a half hours drive from Ipswich, pretty much the same time as it would take to get to Days of Chelmsford so distance wise I guess would be quite possible.

The new one (Constitution motors) is excellent. Friendly guys and reasonable prices. The previous dealer (Greenways) had a service dept which left a lot to be desired (I'm speaking from a bad experience). I used Thurlow Nunn in Downham Market, when Greenways had the franchise for Norwich, and found them to be excellent too.
