ppp ECU for a MY 01 wrx
is the revised ECU in the PPP (available today) dependent on the age of the car it is going on or on the latest technology Prodrive have on the market?
in other words, is the PPP ECU (available today) for an 01 WRX less sophisticated than that for an 04 WRX?

If your car is out of warranty and you don't intend on extending it you would be better off having an ECUTEK remap and full decat which can be had for the same price as the PPP and will give much better results.
PPP is only worth doing if you want to keep warranty intact

Ahhhh !! - so is it possible to have an original MY01 PPP remapped/upgraded to take advantage of the new technology - or do you have to start again from scratch ??

Thanks, Nick.
thank you for that clarification.
i am keeping the car and extending the 'new car' warranty so will stick with the PPP.
what are the quoted bhp and torque figures, for the latest ECU/PPP upgrade, on an MY01 WRX?
thanks in anticipation.
