Default Anyone want a job at APi ??

I need to hire at least one fitter for our engine department - won't be all Subaru work, but will involve perhaps anything from a Micra to a Skyline, petrol or diesel vehicles. Of course a working knowledge of Subaru will be great help in securing a job.

I also need a salesperson to back me up on the phones selling anything from Subaru add on parts to full rebuilds and engine sales on any Japanese cars.

If you think you have what it will take, call me. Unfortunately, we are too busy to take trainees, we simply don't have the time to devote, we need experienced people.

Want a trainee - very mechanicaly minded.
Computer engineer at the moment but getting bored.
Used to working on VW+Audi's but can turn my hand to anything.

My list of previos ventures are

Engine changes Mk2 Polo's + Mk1&2 Golf's (more or less the same ammount of work)
Head rebuild Audi 80 sport (1.8inj)
Full rebuild Audi 80 2.0s (ceized crank) still running 1 yr and 15000m later
205 Head rebuild 1.9
205 1.6 to 1.9 conversion
205 1.9 to MI16 conversion
Rover 220 Turbo Head rebuild

I understand the complete mechanics of an engine - if you get stuck or you can't find anyone "perfect" (not that i'm not or anything) for the job then give me a try

Default Too much work and no play ??

I grudgingly allow 15 minutes for 'tea' twice a day and 45 minutes for lunch. Overtime is unlimited at the moment because people keep sending these Subaru things to repair. We were up to 19 cars here last month...... Then we get to June / July / August holiday time and staff disappear by rotation and leave me sitting here trying to run a business with no staff.

I try to be fair but then the Ghenghis Khan in me comes out and I insist on the odd work break.

yes cos i work in a freezer (-20 degrees) health and safety laws say you can only do 50 mins in every hour so in ten hours thats 100 mins plus our 37mins offical breaks, then you have about another hour of unofficals as well.
