I get pretty good economy if I keep it under 3K about 80Mph in 5th gear, might be better at a constant 56Mph but can't be arsed.

You can keep it off boost at 100+ as long as the road is flat

Heheh

Managed 300 miles on a tank (last tankful) but would hae to own up to a bit more hard pressing sometimes BUT when cruising, its around 0 bar of boost which keeps the fuel con down.

I kept it to 80mph whilst going to Scotland, was quite hard at times, just that little touch put you in launch mode, must be on edge of boost.

Sorry, couldn't resist that one.

Basically you should be able to drive at any speed off boost, just holding the accelerator at that exact rev can be tricky, and always tempting to squeeze it a little...

Have you had some new mods fitted and are awaiting a remap ?

I't not really revs though is it?

It's load on the engine, so you could be at 6,500rpm with no load=0 boost?

Throttle % would be a more precise measurement

Any Turbo car can run at zero boost at pretty much any revs, it's just a case of using light throttle. You could quite easily hit the redline in 1st or 2nd without any boost at all. In the higher gears the power required to push the car along fast enough will exceed what is produced at zero boost though. It's not as simple as revs or speed being directly related to boost - e.g at 90 in 5th with zero boost my car sits at a constant speed, lift off a little and the boost drops straight away but the speed and revs don't change very fast, although they will slowly start to drop as the car slows. If, on the other hand I open the throttle a little I get more boost straight away, and the car starts to accelerate.
